Dacoit A Love Story Ends Box Office Run On A Low Note

Dacoit A Love Story ends its run at Rs. 41.25 crore in India. The film saw average response and failed to grow due to weak word of mouth.

Dacoit A Love Story has completed its theatrical run in India with a total collection of Rs. 41.25 crore gross. The film, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, was expected to perform better but ended up with disappointing numbers at the box office. It is considered an underperformer based on its overall performance and expectations.

The film earned most of its money from the Telugu states, where it collected around Rs. 28 crore. Out of this, the Nizam region contributed about Rs. 15.50 crore, while Andhra brought in around Rs. 11 crore. The Ceeded region added a smaller share of approximately Rs. 1.50 crore. Outside the Telugu markets, the film collected around Rs. 8.50 crore from North India and Rs. 4.25 crore from Karnataka. Other regions across India contributed about Rs. 0.50 crore to the total.

Despite having a strong cast and a mix of action and drama, the film received an average response from the audience. This response played a major role in limiting its growth at the box office. Films that get positive word of mouth usually see better collections over time, especially during weekends. In this case, the film was unable to build that momentum, which affected its overall earnings.

The movie also features actors like Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla. With such a lineup, expectations were higher, but the film could not fully meet them during its theatrical run.

Now, the film is set to release on a digital platform this weekend. Its performance on streaming will be closely watched. Sometimes, films that do not perform well in theatres find a better response online. It remains to be seen whether Dacoit A Love Story will be able to connect with a wider audience in its digital release.
