The revised edit has received a positive response from audiences, particularly in the Telugu and Hindi markets. Many viewers have said that the shorter version moves at a faster pace and presents the story more smoothly. As positive word of mouth continued to grow, several cinema owners increased the number of shows during the film’s second week to meet audience demand.
The film combines mythology, action, adventure and visual effects, which have been among the main attractions for viewers. Reports suggest that the revised version has improved the overall viewing experience by making the storytelling tighter and more engaging. This has helped the film connect with a wider audience compared to its initial release.
Nagabandham marks the debut of Virat Karrna, whose performance has received appreciation from many viewers. The film is directed by Abhishek Nama, who has also been praised for creating a large scale cinematic experience with a strong visual presentation.
