Acting royalty, the Kapoor family, celebrated the 100th birth anniversary of Raj Kapoor in great style. This was a celebration to fund Raj Kapoor’s monumental contributions to Indian cinema and a feast for the eyes for fans and cinema lovers alike.

Raj Kapoor Centenary Film Festival
The festival presented by RK Films, in association with the Film Heritage Foundation and the NFDC, National Film Archive of India, in loving memory of the great actor-director Raj Kapoor, with 40 cities of India itself screening Raj Kapoor’s blockbusters and classics all at once, reportedly being held pan-India, occurred from December 13 to 15, 2024.
Family Reunion: The Kapoors
It is probably the only family get-together of this kind; all the members of the Kapoor clan were under one roof, from Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor to Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. Their presence spoke about their love for their family and carrying forward their grandfather’s great legacy.
Alia stole the show
Wife of Ranbir Kapoor; a vision in that white Sabyasachi sari, alarming in its intricate floral and leafy design splattered with an array of colors. Alia grounded the glitter essence with an exquisite pearl choker. Subtle makeup, with her hair left in soft waves, contributed to old-world charm. Alia later posted a picture of her look on Instagram, captioning the lyrics “Mud mud ke na dekh” from the iconic film Awara of Raj Kapoor. Her pictures met with love-filled tributes from fans and friends, who called her everything from “stunning” to “beyond.”
