Anushka Sharma was in high spirits as she cheered for her husband, Virat Kohli, and Team India during the India vs. Australia Test match in Perth on Saturday. The actor was there cheering on the team from the stands, and soon her energy became a fan favourite.
Anushka kept her outfit casual, wearing a white T-shirt paired with denim. Photos and videos of her from the Optus Stadium in Perth flooded social media, showcasing her cheerful presence. In one clip, she was spotted clapping for the team, while in another, she held a plate in her hand. Anushka was also seen celebrating alongside sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan when Harshit Rana followed Virat Kohli’s advice to dismiss Mitchell Starc.

Before the match, it was when Anushka, Virat, and their children were photoed spending quality time in Perth. One heartwarming image was when the couple was enjoying coffee with Vamika sitting in her stroller.
Fans loved seeing Anushka’s presence at the match and flooded social media with admiration. One user wrote, “She is the great support of Kohli. Great couple,” while another said, “Queen supporting the king.” Comments like “Bhabhi ji in the house” and “Kohli’s ladyluck” also trended online.
The first child born to them was elder daughter Vamika, on January 11, 2021, and the younger son Akaay on February 15, 2024. They have always been protective of their children’s images not being published in the public domain.
Anushka and Virat balance time between Mumbai and London, both owning homes there. She was last seen in films when Zero released in 2018. She wrapped Chakda Xpress, the biopic of cricketer Jhulan Goswami, in 2022; the Netflix film hasn’t gotten a release date as yet.
