Bollywood’s latest on-screen jodi, Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra, are all ready to take over the hearts of the audience in the new romantic comedy Param Sundari, which is now scheduled for release on August 29. With promotions being in full swing, the duo has been making waves at each event with their stunning looks and undying chemistry.
Janhvi swiped the attention at Mumbai promotions when she donned a saree crafted of flowers—a stunning look that reflected the title of the film. Her flowered outfit, intricately embroidered and accessorized with a strappy blouse, was teamed with dewy makeup, loose hair, and drop earrings. Sidharth, by her side, chose a relaxed yet cutting look in casual wear, exuding confidence and happiness, more so as he celebrates the new phase of fatherhood in life.
Originally planned for release on July 25, Param Sundari was delayed by a month to escape a clash with other rom-coms. Producer Dinesh Vijan wanted the movie to get the spotlight it deserves, feeling confident of its good commercial potential. “The visibility and reception could have been diluted because of a crowded release calendar in July,” said a source to PeepingMoon.

Tushar Jalota, who won critical acclaim with Dasvi, directs this cross-cultural romantic tale of a North Indian lad and a South Indian lass. With cultures colliding and hearts colliding, Param Sundari promises a fresh spin on contemporary romance with Maddock Films’ inimitable emotional depth and light-hearted touch.
Fans can also expect the soundtrack of the film, with the love song “Pardesiya” releasing shortly—teasing what is being touted as the biggest love story of 2025.
