Vanvaas delivers a powerful message, inspiring viewers to strengthen their bonds with their families. The story is rich in emotion, with several scenes that bring tears to the eyes. The narrative is compelling, offering a fresh perspective for Anil Sharma, who is primarily known for action films. After the massive success of Gadar 2, Vanvaas is a welcome change. Directed with heart, the visuals on screen are captivating. Nana Patekar delivers a stellar performance, and Rajpal Yadav’s character is delightful. Utkarsh Sharma, Anil Sharma’s son, performs well, though he comes across as slightly loud in some scenes. The lead actress, Simrat Kaur, still has room for improvement in her acting skills.

As for its shortcomings, the film feels a bit lengthy. Reducing its duration wouldn’t have affected the story and might have improved the pacing. Additionally, the drama feels slightly overdone, though attempts have been made to justify it.

Overall, Vanvaas is a film that this society needs where children often abandon their parents or force them to live in old age homes. Banwaas holds a mirror to our lives, emphasizing the importance of human relationships. This heartfelt film is worth watching with your family and friends.

Our rating for Vanvaas 3.5 stars
