Veteran actor Manoj Bajpayee has unveiled the official trailer of Uttar Da Puttar, giving audiences a first look at the upcoming comedy drama. The film combines humour, family emotions, and social commentary while exploring the impact of blind faith, Vastu Shastra, and everyday superstitions on people’s lives.
The trailer introduces a story where beliefs, destiny, and relationships come together in unexpected ways. Through comedy and emotional moments, the film shows how people often depend on directions, rituals, and assumptions in the hope of finding happiness and success. Instead of taking a serious approach, the story presents these ideas through lighthearted situations and family entertainment.
Annu Kapoor plays the lead role in the film. His character’s life changes after he becomes convinced that changing directions can also change his destiny. This belief leads him into a series of funny situations that affect not only his own life but also the people around him. The trailer suggests that the film will mix comedy with emotional family moments while exploring how personal beliefs influence everyday decisions.
Apart from Annu Kapoor, the film features a strong supporting cast that includes Rukhsar Rehman, Brijendra Kala, Pavan Malhotra, Ishtiyak Khan, Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, Rajendra Sethi, Sumit Gulati, and Nitin Arora. Each actor plays an important part in bringing the story and its characters to life.
Uttar Da Puttar is produced by Sandiip Kapur and Priya Kapur under the banner of Promodome Motion Pictures. The film is written and directed by Ravinder Siwach and is based on a story by Sandiip Kapur.
Speaking about the film, producer Sandiip Kapur said, “We are delighted to have Manoj Bajpayee launch the trailer of Uttar Da Puttar. The film is designed as a complete family entertainer. While humour is at the heart of the story, it also reflects on how people sometimes allow beliefs and assumptions to shape their decisions. We wanted to present that idea in a light and entertaining way.”
Director Ravinder Siwach also shared his thoughts and said, “Uttar Da Puttar presents a world that is funny, relatable and filled with memorable characters. The trailer gives only a small glimpse of what audiences can expect. There is a lot more drama, humour and emotion waiting in the film.”
The story is built around the question, “Karam Bade Ya Kismat?”, exploring whether life is shaped more by destiny or by a person’s own actions. While raising this thought provoking question, the film aims to entertain audiences with humour and family drama.
Uttar Da Puttar is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 24 July 2026.
