Ajay Devgn is all set to start the new year 2025 with the release of Azaad, a romantic drama, directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The film is already generating huge excitement as it marks the debut of Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, and Devgn’s nephew, Aaman Devgan. On January 6, 2025, the makers finally released the official trailer, which gives a glimpse into this saga of the pre-independence era.

The 2 minute, 43-second trailer features Ajay Devgn as a daredevil horse rider leading a rebellion against the British army. His character ends up mentoring Aaman Devgan, who considers him his idol and becomes his protégé in horse riding. While Rasha Thadani plays a member of the royal family who will add a romantic love story to Aaman, Diana Penty is cast opposite Ajay as his love interest that takes the interestingness of the storyline ahead.
The makers shared the trailer on social media, captioning it: “Kuch rishton ko hum chunte; aur kuch humein.#AzaadTrailer out now. Witness the adventure of #Azaad on big screens on 17th January 2025.”
