As is now well known, the Neeraj Pandey directed Akshay Kumar starrer, BABY, opened much better (netting nearly 9 crore) on the opening day, as opposed to the teams last hit SPECIAL 26, which was much lower at around 7 crore on the first day.

The film has since been on an inspired run and has crossed the 75 crore figure from India and has already grossed over $2m from the overseas, as of now. In fact T-Series’ BABY is still very much active, alive & kicking and bringing in the moolah!
BABY’s success has consolidated the T-Series-Akshay team’s reputation further and inspired them for more and their next project AIRLIFT is all set to commence later this month.
