AASHIQUI 2
AASHIQUI 2 actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor took the nation by storm with their musical romance. The film hit the right chords with the audience by giving some soulfully amazing romantic numbers like 'Tum Hi Ho' sung by the B-town's latest singing sensation Arijit Singh and Ankit Tiwari respectively. Music composed by Mithoon, the songs of the film has become an all-time chartbuster this year!
YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI
While YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI hit the headlines for its sensational and controversial lead actors – Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, the film performed extremely well in terms of music. Pritam's music along with Benny Dayal's voice added spice to the peppy number 'Badtameez Dil' which became a craze among the audiences. Arijit Singh and Sunidhi Chauhan's nok -jhok' number 'Dilliwali Girlfriend' and Rekha Bharadwaj and Tochi Raina's sufi-romantic slow number 'Kabira' also connected with the people, thus making the music of the film a superhit!
RAM LEELA
Sanjay leela Bhansali's magnum opus film GOLIYON KI RAASLEELA RAM-LEELA not only entertained the audiences with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's intense chemistry but also gave the viewers, a taste of authentic Gujarati music. Bhansali struck gold with popular songs 'Nagada Sang Dhol Baaje' sung by the talented Shreya Ghoshal, 'Tattad Tattad' and 'Ishkiyaaon Dishkiyaaon' by Aditya Narayan, a sensual naughty number 'Lahu Munh Lag Gaya' crooned by Shail Hada, a soft song 'Laal Ishq' by Arijit Singh again and the hottest item song 'Ram Chahe Leela' sung by the debutante Bhoomi Trivedi in the film.
CHENNAI EXPRESS
Blockbuster CHENNAI EXPRESS entertained the 'common man' with its peppy dance numbers 'Lungi Dance' sung by the rap king Yo Yo Honey Singh and Vishal-Shekhar and Hamsika Iyer's '1234 Get on The Dance Floor'. Arijit Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan and Neeti Mohan's 'Kashmir Main Tu Kanyakumari' also hit the right notes with the listeners.
SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE
Yash Raj Films' modern take on romance in SHUDDH DESI ROMANCE was an average affair but found its takers for the music. Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra and debutante Vaani Kapoor's naughty chemistry in the songs was the highlight of the film. Be it Divya Kumar's 'Chanchal Mann Ati Random', Benny Dayal-Shalmali Kholgade's 'Shuddh Desi Romance', Jigar-Priya Saraiya's 'Gulaabi' or Mohit Chauhan-Sunidhi Chauhan's 'Tere Mere Beech Main', all the songs went to become a rage with the youngsters!
PHATA POSTER NIKHLA HERO
PHATA POSTER NIKHLA HERO may not have performed well at the box-office but the movie had some lively songs which were loved by the audience. While Atif Aslam and Chinmayi Sripada enthralled with their romantic number 'Main Rang Sharbaton Ka', Mika Singh's crazy number 'Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai' expressed a new way of confessing love. However, the most rocking song of the film definitely was Nakash Aziz and Neha Kakkar's 'Dhating Naach' with desi babe Nargis Fakhri and mavali Shahid Kapoor grooving to it!
R…RAJKUMAR
Shahid Kapoor-Sonakshi Sinha's masala entertainer R…RAJKUMAR was received well at the box-office and made the masses go crazy with their dhinchak song 'Gandi Baat' sung by the enthusiastic Mika Singh and Kalpana Patowry. Nakash Aziz and Antara Mitra's 'Saree Ke Fall Sa' also saw people going crazy over it. Though lyrics weren't appreciated but the tune just didnt't allow public to forget the song!
GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN
Kareena Kapoor made thousands go berserk in the film GORI TERE PYAAR MEIN's smash hit song 'Tooh' sung by the King of Punjabi songs Mika Singh, Mamta Sharma, Vishal Dadlani and Shruti Pathak. The film also offered desi song 'Chingam Chabake' sung by 'breathless' Shankar Mahadevan and Shalmali Kholgade. Debutant singer Sanam Puri and Aditi Singh Sharma's party number 'Dhat Teri Ki' was hit amongst the party goers!
BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG
Farhan Akhtar's BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG not only impressed the critics but also the movie lovers. The film's energetic song 'Havan Karenge' crooned by Divya Kumar took it to the next level followed by Sidharth Mahadevan's 'Zinda', which became a synonymous as an motivational or an athletic song!
KAI PO CHE
Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkumar Yadav and Amit Sadh's KAI PO CHE received critical acclaim for its story as well as music. Set up in the backdrop of Gujarat, the film's Gujarati song 'Shubhaarambh' by Divya Kumar and Shruti Pathak, became a hit with the audience and an addition to Bollywood's Navratri songs. On the other hand, 'Manjha' by Amit Trivedi and Mohan Kanan was a slow song highlighting the importance of relationships.

The film's other songs – 'Party All Night' by KK, Pritam and Shefali Alvares and 'Lat Lag Gayi' by Benny Dayal, Shalmali Kholgade and Pritam became a chartbuster, thanks to its playful and zealous music!
ABCD – ANY BODY CAN DANCE
Prabhu Dheva's ABCD not only displayed some heavy duty dance forms but also had some refreshing music in store for the audience. While Rap Queen Hard Kaur struck the right chords with her superhit track 'Sada Dil Bhi Tu', Mohit Chauhan and Priya Panchal mesmerized the listeners with their song 'Bezubaan'.
NAUTANKI SAALA
Though Ayushmann Khurana's second film NAUTANKI SAALA was a debacle, the actor cum singer didn't fail to impress the audience with his incredibly soulful song 'Saddi Gali Aaja' sung by Ayushmann himself accompanied by the mesmerizing Neeti Mohan, thus making the song a chartbuster!
