Diljit Dosanjh’s return to India as part of his Dil-Luminati tour has sparked immense excitement among fans. The tour, which kicked off in New Delhi, has already delivered unforgettable performances, flooding social media with clips of his high-energy concerts.

Now, as he heads to Jaipur for his next show, Diljit surprised fans with a Diwali-themed video on Instagram, where he combined his humor and cooking skills to whip up some Kadahi Paneer, accompanied by his signature hilarious voiceover. The video shows him celebrating Diwali by lighting sparklers and diyas with his team before getting to work in the kitchen—a fun, personal touch for his fans.

Before his tour, Diljit also impressed audiences with his role in Amar Singh Chamkila, Imtiaz Ali’s biopic of the Punjabi folk legend, alongside Parineeti Chopra. Interestingly, Imtiaz Ali initially hesitated to cast Diljit in the role, fearing he might not be the right fit. But after meeting him, the director was convinced of his authenticity and passion for Chamkila’s story. Imtiaz later shared how Diljit’s deep understanding of Punjab’s music culture and his own journey from the Malwa region made him perfect for the role. The director recalled that Diljit identified as one of Chamkila’s biggest fans, making him not only the ideal choice but someone deeply connected to the folk singer’s legacy.

Diljit’s unique connection to Chamkila, coupled with his talent for blending humor with authenticity, has continued to win over fans, both on and off the stage. With more tour stops ahead, his global and local audiences alike are in for more memorable moments.

Meanwhile Internet users were outraged by Andrew Tate’s racist comment about singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, prompting a strong response from singer Adnan Sami. After Tate made a derogatory remark suggesting that Diljit’s jacket “stinks of curry,” Adnan shared a collage on Instagram contrasting the two, emphasizing that the audience at Diljit’s concert was filled with love, not the negativity associated with Tate’s allegations of serious crimes, including human trafficking.

Adnan’s post received widespread support from fans, who praised him for speaking out against racism. Comments ranged from appreciation for his words to humorous quips about Tate’s ignorance. Meanwhile, Diljit has not publicly addressed Tate’s comment, but the backlash from his fans has been substantial.

Tate’s controversial remarks come amid ongoing legal troubles, including accusations of forming an organized criminal group and human trafficking. His history of promoting a misogynistic worldview continues to draw criticism, and this incident has only intensified the discussion around his problematic behavior.
