Farhan Akhtar is currently leaving no stone unturned to get into the skin of his character for his upcoming film Toofan.
After 2013, 6 years later, the hit combination of Farhan Akhtar and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra are all set to reunite on screen for a film based on boxing titled Toofan, an Excel Entertainment production in association with ROMP Pictures.
Farhan who will be essaying the role of a boxer is training hard to get into a proper shape.
The actor is seen working out with heavy weights a testimony of which is seen on his social media.
Farhan shared a picture where the actor is seen skipping with a caption that says, "Gotta stay light on them feet. #Toofaninthemaking".
The film is not a biopic. It is a fictional story scripted by Anjum Rajabali. Farhan fell in love with it as soon as he heard it. Rakeysh has already started with the prep and Farhan will be training extensively in boxing.
Maintaining his image, the actor, during the Gully Boy trailer launch, said he will be making a 'big announcement' soon.
After playing Olympian sprinter Milkha Singh, Farhan is all set to play the role of a boxer in another sports-drama film titled Toofan.
