Pooja Entertainment, a notable production house run by Jackky Bhagnani and his father Vashu Bhagnani, is reportedly facing significant financial difficulties. According to reports, the company has been forced to sell its seven-floor office in Mumbai to manage a ₹250 crore debt. This decision follows a series of box office failures and subsequent financial strain.
In light of these challenges, the Bhagnanis have significantly downsized their operations. Around 80 percent of the employees have been laid off, and the office has been relocated to a more modest two-bedroom flat in Juhu. The downsizing reportedly began in January 2024, following the shelving of Jagan Shakti’s film featuring Tiger Shroff, which faced a two-year struggle to commence production.
This news emerged shortly after crew members accused Pooja Entertainment of delayed payments, highlighting the severity of the company’s current financial situation.
