On August 13, the 61st birth anniversary of the legendary Sridevi, her daughter Janhvi Kapoor paid a heartfelt tribute by visiting the Tirupati temple with her beau, Shikhar Pahariya. This visit was a part of Janhvi’s tradition to honor her late mother on her special day. Dressed in a yellow saree with a teal blouse, Janhvi was seen seeking blessings at the temple, while Shikhar also wore traditional attire.

Janhvi shared her emotions with her followers on Instagram, posting a series of pictures that included a nostalgic photo of her with Sridevi, a photo of the temple stairs, and another where she is dressed in a traditional lehenga. Her post was accompanied by the caption, “Happy birthday Mumma I love you.”

Fans quickly noted Janhvi’s resemblance to actress Rashmika Mandanna in one of the pictures, with comments such as “Why she’s looking like Rashmika” and “Who else got a feeling of Rashmika in the 3rd pic! .”

Earlier in the day, Boney Kapoor, Janhvi’s father, honored Sridevi with a touching post, sharing an edited image from her 2012 film English Vinglish and writing, “Happy birthday, my jaan.”

Khushi Kapoor, Janhvi’s younger sister, also paid tribute by sharing a cherished childhood picture with Sridevi. In the photo, Khushi and Janhvi are seen with their mother, with Khushi sporting a short pixie haircut and Janhvi making a funny expression, capturing a beautiful family memory.

Sridevi, born in 1963, began her acting career at just four years old with the Tamil film Kandhan Karunai. She rose to prominence in Bollywood with her role in the 1983 film Himmatwala, opposite Jeetendra, and went on to become one of the most celebrated actresses in Indian cinema, known for her versatility and talent.
