To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Rakesh Roshan’s Karan Arjun is set for a grand re-release on November 22, 2024. This marks the widest re-release for any Indian film, with simultaneous showings across cinemas in India and internationally. The timeless classic, first released in 1995, stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan as brothers separated by tragedy and reunited in their next lives, seeking justice.
Hrithik Roshan, who worked as an associate director on Karan Arjun three decades ago, lends his voice to a new tribute trailer. Sharing memories of its creation, Hrithik recalled a powerful moment during a story session when his father envisioned the interval’s climactic scene. “As a 17-year-old, I experienced my first jolt of audience euphoria!” he reminisced, knowing then it would be a blockbuster.
The Karan Arjun trailer, narrated by Hrithik, pays homage to the iconic moments that etched it into pop culture, including its unforgettable dialogues like “Mere Karan Arjun aayenge” and songs like Yeh Bandhan Toh, Bhangda Paale, and Jaati Hoon Main, all composed by Rajesh Roshan. This trailer will also be attached to upcoming releases Kanguva on November 14 and *The Sabarmati Report* on November 15.
With its mix of action, emotion, and the memorable chemistry between Salman and Shah Rukh, Karan Arjun remains beloved for its theme of brotherhood, thrilling sequences, and enduring appeal across generations. Produced by FilmKraft Productions, the film continues to hold a special place in Indian cinema.
