Bollywood actress Radhika Apte and British violinist and composer Benedict Taylor welcome their first child. Fans and friends warmly welcomed the new mom and dad by showering them with love and congratulatory wishes. She announced the news through an Instagram post where she clicked a picture of feeding her one-week-old baby in the first work meeting after her delivery. While she has not revealed the gender of the baby, the picture provided fans with a poignant preview of her experience as a new mother.
This was after Radhika had first made an appearance at the BFI London Film Festival in October 2024 when she subtly announced that she was pregnant by flashing her baby bump in an alluring off-shoulder black bodycon dress. A private person, Radhika and Benedict had kept their pregnancy under wraps even on social media until they did so on the red carpet.
Industry friends, including Divyenndu Sharma, Tisca Chopra, Gulshan Devaiah, Vijay Varma, Neeraj Ghaywan, and Zoya Akhtar, have already sent in a flurry of congratulatory messages welcoming the new chapter in her life.
Radhika and Benedict have been married since 2012, having got married in an intimate ceremony held in Northern England. This is now another beautiful dimension added to their 12-year-long relationship.
