Sanjay Gupta admits JAZBAA is ‘adapted’ but refuses to reveal the film’s name

The trailer of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback film JAZBAA released today and it’s being speculated that it’s a remake of Korean film, SEVEN DAYS

When asked if the film is a remake of the Korean film SEVEN DAYS, director Sanjay Gupta replied, “It is a remake. I’m not at the liberty to tell you what film it is. But it is a remake of a Korean film.

When further probed if he has directly lifted the film, the filmmaker curtly replied, “It’s been adapted.”

Immediately after his response, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan further added, “When I came on board, I didn’t see any (Korean) movie. We received a script and we have done a Sanjay Gupta film. It’s as clear as that.”

So it seems we have to wait to know the name of the film JAZBAA is ‘adapted’ from.
