Speaking with Mashable India, Sunita looked back on the early days of her relationship with Govinda and described him as “extremely handsome.” She recalled being attracted to him because of his charm and appearance when they first met. According to Sunita, one of the features she particularly remembered was his natural hair during his younger years.
While discussing how Govinda looks today, she openly revealed that he now uses a hair patch. She said, “Even now he looks handsome, but at that time he had his original hair. Now he wears a patch.” Her comment prompted laughter during the interview, but Sunita was quick to explain that there is nothing unusual about using a hair patch.
She stressed that such solutions are common and should not be viewed as something people need to hide. According to Sunita, many people in the entertainment industry use hair patches, and there is no reason for embarrassment. She added, “What’s there to hide? Many heroes do it. Men and women both use patches.”
Despite the discussion about his appearance, Sunita also praised Govinda’s talent and contribution to the film industry. She described him as a unique performer and said, “My husband is one piece. There has never been anyone like him in the industry and there never will be.”

Govinda later addressed the claims in an interview with ANI and rejected the allegations. Responding to the controversy, he said, “What I’ve been observing lately is that sometimes when we don’t speak, we either appear weak or it seems like we are simply the problem. So today, I’m responding. I was told that people in my family might be unknowingly involved and they won’t realise they are being used in the initial stages of a big conspiracy.”
