Dengue cases have been reported across several parts of the country, and actress Swara Bhasker has now revealed that she has also contracted the disease. The actress shared a health update with her fans on Instagram, confirming that she is currently hospitalised.
Swara posted a picture of herself from a hospital bed on her Instagram Story. Along with the photo, she wrote, “Well that escalated fast. Dengue-fied and hospitalised!” Her short message gave fans an update about her condition, although she did not share further details about her symptoms or how long she has been in the hospital.
Swara’s health update comes shortly after Balika Vadhu actress Avika Gor was also hospitalised after testing positive for dengue. Avika’s husband, Milind Chandwani, recently shared details about her condition and said that she had been dealing with a very high fever for five days before being diagnosed.
According to Milind, Avika continued working despite feeling unwell. She completed a project shoot while dealing with a fever and later travelled to Delhi for another professional commitment. After returning to Mumbai, her test results confirmed that she had dengue, following which she was admitted to the hospital.
Milind also revealed that he had asked Avika to postpone her work because of her health. However, she reportedly did not want the people involved in the project to face losses because of her absence. Avika also shared a picture from the hospital and gave fans a glimpse of her condition.
Both Swara and Avika’s hospitalisations have drawn attention to the importance of taking high fever and other symptoms seriously. However, neither actress has shared detailed information about their current recovery or expected discharge.
On the work front, Swara Bhasker was last seen on television in Pati Patni Aur Panga, where she appeared alongside her husband Fahad Ahmad. The actress has not yet announced her next project.
