The news doing the rounds that Madhuri Dixit, who is set for a comeback with DEDH ISHQIYA, has specially invited her one time archrival Sridevi and her family for the premiere has certainly raised the eyebrows. While we see the duo together it jogs our memory with their infamous tug-of-war back then in 80s, Madhuri & Sridevi have grown beyond being rivals. The twosome now exchange pleasantries whenever they bump into each other and their rivalry, to everyone’s surprise, has turned into a healthy friendship.
It was first evident when the two Bollywood’s most happening divas, who ruled the roost in late 80s and early 90s, shared the same frame for the first time at the grand finale of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa and created history of sorts for the voyeurs, to be precise. Madhuri not only greeted Sridevi, who came to promote her film comeback film ENGLISH VINGLISH, but also danced along with Miss Hawa Hawaii. As the two dames met, the flash bulbs burst and the world went gaga over their newfound friendship.
