Kim Kardashian is making the most of her summer vacation in Hawaii, and as expected, she is doing it in a very glamorous way. The reality star recently shared a beach look featuring a black Gucci string bikini that immediately caught attention. The tiny two piece swimsuit comes with the fashion house’s famous gold horsebit detail and reportedly costs around $1,300.
Kardashian, 45, added another luxury touch to the simple black bikini by wearing a diamond double strand belly chain around her waist. The jewelry gave her beach outfit an even more glamorous appearance while keeping the overall look simple. When she moved indoors, the Skims founder changed things up slightly by adding a sheer black bolero and black leggings, creating a stylish all black outfit.
Although the diamond belly chain looked eye catching, it is actually a fairly simple choice compared with some of Kardashian’s previous fashion moments. In 2023, she turned a Messika necklace featuring a huge 17 carat pear shaped diamond into a belly chain for Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July party. At the time, jewelry experts told Page Six Style that the piece could have been worth as much as $3 million.
The latest Gucci bikini is also not Kardashian’s first swimwear look during her Hawaii trip. Earlier in the vacation, she was spotted wearing another Gucci bikini, this time a pink monogram two piece. She paired that outfit with Chanel shield sunglasses and a bandana, giving the look a relaxed vacation feel.
Kardashian is reportedly enjoying the trip with her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, along with her daughter Chicago and son Psalm. Hamilton’s presence has also connected the reality star’s recent fashion choices with his Formula 1 career.
Earlier this year, Kardashian turned the Monaco Grand Prix into another major fashion moment. During three days at the event in June, she wore Gucci outfits while watching Hamilton from the paddock. One of her standout looks included horsebit detailed flared jeans paired with matching pumps.
Her connection with Gucci has also been visible at major celebrity events. In March, Kardashian attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party wearing a dramatic sequined gold gown from creative director Demna’s first collection for the fashion house. She completed the outfit with towering 8 inch Pleaser platforms.
Gucci swimwear has also become something of a family fashion trend for the Kardashians. Kylie Jenner wore an archival cutout Gucci one piece from the Spring 2010 collection in April. Khloé Kardashian previously showed off an $820 Gucci monogram bikini during a ski trip in 2024, pairing the swimwear with faux fur.
