Madonna Turns 68 In Style With A Glamorous Dolce & Gabbana Gown At Greek Island Birthday

Madonna celebrated her 68th birthday in Corfu, Greece, wearing a stunning Dolce & Gabbana gown while celebrating with family, friends and boyfriend Akeem Morris.

Madonna knows how to make a birthday memorable, and her latest celebration was no exception. The Queen of Pop turned 68 with a lavish island party in Corfu, Greece, where she marked the occasion surrounded by family and friends. For the celebration, Madonna chose a dramatic Dolce & Gabbana gown that looked like it had come straight from a fairytale.

The Baroque inspired gown had been shown on the runway only a month earlier during Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda Taormina show. Covered in sparkling sequins, the outfit featured detailed crystal and satin flowers across the design. Madonna completed the dramatic look with a headpiece decorated with large fuchsia roses, making the outfit impossible to miss.

She added even more glamour with glittering gold pumps and several brass bangles from Dinosaur Designs. Around her neck, Madonna wore a statement floral necklace from Dolce & Gabbana’s exclusive Alta Gioielleria collection. The expensive looking piece featured tanzanite, morganite, aquamarine, rhodolite garnet and a South Sea pearl.

Photos from the celebration showed Madonna enjoying the special occasion with her loved ones. She was seen blowing out candles on a heart shaped birthday cake decorated with a large evil eye design. The singer also posed for pictures with five of her six children.

Sharing a series of pictures from the party, Madonna wrote, “It’s My Birthday! Eat, Pray, Love,Drink, Dance, Break plates, Feed Cats!!” She ended the post with a message of gratitude and a reference to Greece, writing, “Thank you G*D! 🇬🇷♥️”

Her birthday celebration came on an exciting day for her music career as well. MTV announced that Madonna leads the nominations for the 2026 VMAs with 11 nominations, giving her the highest number of nominations in her career. She is also nominated for Video of the Year for Confessions II The Film.

Madonna released the 14 minute film in June ahead of her latest album, Confessions II. The album later debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in July, adding another major achievement to her long career.

Dolce & Gabbana also played a role in the project, dressing Madonna for the Danceteria sequence in a fitted baby blue outfit inspired by a look from the fashion house’s Spring 1998 collection.

Several famous friends sent birthday wishes in the comments, including Selma Blair, Pabllo Vittar and longtime friend Debi Mazar. Kelly Ripa also shared a message in Greek, writing, “χρόνια πολλά 👑🎉🎂🧿,” which means “many happy returns.”

Madonna later changed into a white lace dress for the evening celebrations. She styled it with several necklaces, including her familiar cross pendants, and colourful bracelets.

Her guests also followed an all white theme. Among those celebrating with her was her 30 year old boyfriend, Akeem Morris. With her family, friends and loved ones around her, Madonna’s 68th birthday was clearly another unforgettable celebration.
