The discussion started after Shreya expressed her disappointment over Akanksha naming her in the game’s chargesheet, which resulted in her being nominated for elimination this week. Shreya said she wanted to reveal something that Akanksha had allegedly shared with her during a private conversation.
During the episode, Shreya asked Sufi, “Am I going to be a bad person if I reveal it?” Sufi replied, “No, that’s the game.” Shreya then claimed, “She is bisexual.” The camera immediately showed Akanksha’s reaction. Sufi appeared surprised and questioned the revelation. He first suggested that they keep the information private, but Shreya refused. Referring to the rules of the show, she said that the “secret” had now been used in the game. She also claimed that because Akanksha had shared it with her and it had now been revealed, two of Akanksha’s lifelines were over, leaving her with only one remaining.
Following the episode, Akanksha’s team released a statement responding to Shreya’s claims. The statement read, “We believe selective memory is a dangerous thing. Let’s not forget that the same Akanksha sacrificed her biggest truth for you when she barely even knew you. She stood by you then, and she’s put herself on the line more times than she ever had to. Just because you weren’t her only priority, because she chose to be fair and maintain bonds with everyone in the house, doesn’t make her a bad friend. Talking behind her back, calling her names, and then claiming friendship only when it’s convenient… girlll, that’s the real contradiction.”

The statement further added, “Akanksha has been consistent since Day 1. She’s stood by her decisions, whether people agreed with them or not. And that’s exactly why we’ll keep standing by her.”
Meanwhile, Gaurav Khanna also reacted to Akanksha’s earlier announcement about their separation. While speaking on the sets of Laughter Chefs during his break from shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi, he referred to Akanksha as his wife and said, “The love is still the same and the support is still the same. I will always support Akanksha. She is my wife. If I have loved her, why would I step back? All the very best to Akanksha for life. I will always stand by her and support her. I just want her to play well and come back after winning.”
Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola met during an audition and dated for several years before getting married in 2016. After nearly a decade of marriage, the couple has reportedly decided to separate. Earlier on Lock Upp Season 2, Akanksha shared that she does not have maternal instincts, while Gaurav has always wanted to become a father. She said she could not fulfil his wish of having children, and the two mutually decided to move forward in different directions.
