Netflix’s DANG! Trailer Reveals A Chaotic Sibling Story Set In New York City

Netflix’s DANG! follows two siblings whose messy New York lives are disrupted when their successful older sister unexpectedly returns to spend time with them.

Netflix is preparing to introduce its new adult animated comedy DANG!, which is scheduled to premiere on September 8, 2026. Ahead of its debut, the streaming platform has released the first trailer, offering a look at the unusual family situation at the centre of the series.

DANG! follows a brother and sister who are living their own messy and carefree lives in New York City. Their routine suddenly changes when their older sister arrives and decides that she wants to spend time with them.

For the siblings, her unexpected visit is not exactly good news. She is highly successful and has achieved the kind of life they may feel unable to match. Her decision to reconnect with them creates a series of awkward and funny situations as the three siblings try to deal with their different personalities and lifestyles.

The series uses the relationship between the siblings as the main source of its comedy. Rather than focusing only on exaggerated situations, the story looks at family relationships, personal differences and the uncomfortable moments that can happen when relatives with very different lives are forced to spend time together.

DANG! is produced by Universal Television, while animation is being handled by Titmouse. Law and Matt Murray serve as showrunners and executive producers. The two previously worked together on The Good Place, where Murray was a writer and producer.

Mike Schur, who created The Good Place, is also an executive producer on the new animated series. Alan Yang and David Miner are executive producers for 3 Arts Entertainment.

Titmouse executives Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Ben Kalina and Antonio Canobbio are also involved as executive producers.

Law provides the voice for one of the siblings. The voice cast also includes Stephanie Hsu, who received an Oscar nomination for Everything Everywhere All at Once, and Poppy Liu, known for her role in Hacks.

The trailer gives viewers an early look at the three siblings and the kind of family conflicts that are expected to drive the story. Their different approaches to life appear to create much of the comedy as they attempt to deal with each other.

DANG! will premiere on Netflix on September 8, 2026, marking the arrival of another adult animated comedy focused on family relationships, everyday problems and life in New York City.
