Nearly three years since the first season was released, the long-awaited South Korean series by Netflix, Squid Game, is all set for its comeback. Fans eagerly await this new season ever since the huge success of the show in 2021. As the premiere date nears, the makers are gaining a great deal of momentum for this release, releasing a new poster featuring new and returning characters.
Official Instagram of Squid Game dropped on November 14 a teaser that includes returning actors Lee Jung Jae and Lee Byung Hun, plus introduces new cast members in Jo Yu Ri, Kang Ha Neul, Yim Si Wan, and Park Sung Hoon. Here, players are shown in green jerseys sporting weird numbers while Player 456, Seong Gi Hun, looks intently at them. Suspense looms in as an unmasked Front Man moves amidst pink-clad guards.

Here’s something to hold you over till December 26th.”.
The second season continues from where the first season ended, with Seong Gi Hun back in the survival game-where he had won it last time. Season 2 comes with a new set of contestants seeking to win the 45.6 billion won money prize, all under the direction of director Hwang Dong Hyuk. The additional cast members for this season are Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Lee David, Choi Seung Hyun, and others.
Squid Game Season 2 will be released on December 26 on Netflix.
