Fans of Netflix’s romantic crime thriller Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein are in for good news, as the show is now getting ready for a second season slated to release on November 22, 2024.
The makers have just dropped an intense trailer for Season 2 promising more intense drama, suspense, and dark twists. Returning along with the lead stars is Tahir Raj Bhasin, Aanchal Singh, Shweta Tripathi, and Saurabh Shukla. Season 2 sees Gurmeet Choudhary in a new role called Guru. All these have upped the stakes of this toxic saga of obsessive love and revenge.
The makers captioned, “Mohabbat nahi, ab junoon ka season aa gaya hain ❤️. Watch the twisted tale of love, passion, and betrayal, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein Season 2, out 22 November, only on Netflix!”
The first season, which dropped in January 2022, had abruptly ended on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers hanging between life and death as Aanchal Singh’s Purva went missing at the hands of some nefarious killer. Season two will seem to step further into the web of love, passion, and betrayal and the dark tone has everyone worried. Netflix captioned the trailer drop post as “Mohabbat nahi, ab junoon ka season aa gaya hai,” giving a hint at the rising obsession that fuels the storyline.
Produced, written, and directed by Sidharth Sengupta of Edgestorm Ventures Pvt Ltd, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein brings back a powerhouse ensemble cast which also includes Arunoday Singh, Varun Badola, Brijendra Kala, Anant Joshi, and several others.
Fans have been waiting with bated breath for the count of days, and Season 2 seems to be something that’s going to keep things locked up tight, adding to the suspense and thrill that made this show a hot item in its first season.
