Parineeti Chopra, who recently starred in ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, opened up about her early days as an intern at YRF Studio. She shared how she would serve coffee to actors, manage their interviews, and eventually landed her first film and a three-film contract with Aditya Chopra.
Parineeti reminisced, “I used to order coffee for the stars, take care of their interviews… my final film as an intern was Band Baaja Baarat.” She revealed how Aditya Chopra discovered her acting auditions and called her to offer a three-film deal at Yash Raj. “I wondered why he was calling! He told me, ‘Parineeti, I’ll sign you for a three-film deal at Yash Raj.’ I was like, ‘What are you saying?'”
Her first film, ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’, directed by Maneesh Sharma and co-starring Ranveer Singh, released on December 9, 2011. Parineeti’s journey from an intern to a leading lady is a testament to her hard work and dedication.
