Television couple Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash have finally taken the next step in their relationship after years of dating. Popularly known as ‘TejRan’ among fans, the couple got engaged during their recently released reality show Desi Bling, which premiered on Netflix on May 20.
The proposal took place in the final episode of the show, where Karan arranged a grand surprise for Tejasswi. Several cast members including Rizwan Sajan, Satish Sanpal, Sana Sajan and others were part of the celebration.
As Tejasswi arrived at the venue, she was surprised to see a large romantic setup along with the words “Will You Marry Me?” displayed across the water in giant letters. The actress appeared emotional after seeing the arrangement and told Karan, “I am shivering. My hands are not going to stop,” while he comforted her.
Before proposing, Karan delivered an emotional speech reflecting on their relationship journey. He said, “Jab hum mile the, toh bohot kuch hua tha… Jab hum bahar aaye, sab ne kaha tha ki yeh toh 2 hafte nahi tikenge. Kisi ne kaha tha main fake hu; kisi ne kaha tu fake hai. It’s been four years; we’ve seen everything, and we’ve been through everything.”

He further added, ‘”Imperfectly perfect love story’- yeh tune hi term diya tha. Every year that I spent with you, it has changed the meaning of love for me. I never thought I would ever fall in love or commit. I want to thank you for bringing out the man in me, the man who has the guts to say, ‘This is it. It’s now and forever.’”
Karan then went down on one knee and proposed with a large diamond ring. Soon after, the couple hugged each other while an emotional Tejasswi was seen crying.
Karan and Tejasswi first met during Bigg Boss 15 in 2021 and started dating during the show. Since then, the couple has remained one of television’s most talked about celebrity pairs.
Currently, both actors are also appearing on Laughter Chefs Season 3. Karan is paired with Elvish Yadav, while Tejasswi is paired with Arjun Bijlani on the show.
