The series was announced in December 2024, and the release date is specified as January 17, 2025. Now, with the poster launched on December 18, 2024, featuring Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, and Rajesh Roshan, the reflection shows behind them their late father, Roshan Lal Nagrath, a tribute to the guiding force that laid their path.

The docuseries, directed by Shashi Ranjan, covers a legacy of the Roshan family beginning with Roshan Lal Nagrath, one of the most recognized music directors in Indian cinema in the 1950s and 1960s. It distinguishes accomplishments of his two sons, Rakesh Roshan, a popular movie actor turned director, and Rajesh Roshan, renowned as a composer, while paying a fitting tribute to his even-celebrated son, Hrithik Roshan.
The series is touted to explore the multi-generation legacy of Indian cinema, with reputed interviews with modern Bollywood stars being attentive while interviewing seasoned members since they had worked with the Roshans. Notably, Rakesh Roshan thanked Shah Rukh Khan this year for his involvement with this show-the very first Family Odyssey fixated on one clan. It aims to narrate, enthralling breakdowns, taking audiences through the emotional and dark journeys of a family chasing a mark on the history of Indian cinema that solidly stands through the ages.
