Salman Khan Reacts Strongly To Rajpal Yadav Trolling At An Awards Show

0

Salman Khan and Rajpal Yadav have worked together in several films over the years and share a professional bond. Recently, Salman Khan came out in support of Rajpal Yadav after a moment involving the actor at a public event drew attention online.

The situation began during an award show in Mumbai where Rajpal Yadav was speaking about global issues and financial uncertainty. A video from the event showed him saying, “There are so many wars going on, so I keep wondering where to sit and where to think. The rupee and the dollar keep fluctuating so much that it becomes difficult to understand anything. So, I just sit quietly and keep saying ‘peace, peace.’”

During this interaction, journalist Saurabh Dwivedi, who was hosting the event, interrupted him and said, “Rajpal bhai, no matter how much the dollar and rupee fluctuate, aapko utne hi paise lautane padenge jitne udhaar hain (You will still have to repay the same amount you owe).”

After this remark, Rajpal Yadav remained calm and responded with a smile, “Masla toh sunlo. Mai toh masla sunana chahta hun. (Just listen to the issue. I just want to share that).” The clip quickly spread on social media, leading to mixed reactions from viewers.

Soon after, Salman Khan shared a message on X addressing Rajpal Yadav. He wrote, “Rajpal bhai aap 30 yrs se kaam kar rahe ho aur hum sabne aapko repeat kiya hai baar baar kyunki aap apna kaam jante ho aur ek value laate ho, kaam toh aapko bohot milega aur issi dollar rate pe milega aur milte rahega. Hakikat yeh hai. (Rajpal brother, you have been working for the past 30 years, and all of us have worked with you on repeat because you know your work and bring value to the films. You will get a lot of work and at this Dollar rate).”

He further added, “Aur yeh yaad rakhna ke kabhi kabhi flow mai kuch nikal aata hai, dena hi hai toh dimag mai rakho dil se kaam karo, dollar upar ho ya neeche kya farak padta hai dena toh India mai hi hai @rajpalofficial. (And remember this, sometimes something comes out in flow. If you want to give back, keep it in your mind and work with your heart. It doesn’t matter if the dollar is low or high, you have to give it in India.)”

On the work front, Rajpal Yadav is expected to appear in Bhooth Bangla. Salman Khan is preparing for his upcoming film Maatrubhumi, which is expected to release soon.

Astronauts Recreate Full House in Space and Somehow Make It Even Better

0

Sometimes the internet gives you chaos. And sometimes it gives you something unexpectedly wholesome. This time, it is astronauts. The crew of NASA’s Artemis II mission decided to recreate the opening credits of Full House while literally floating in space. And yes, it is exactly as fun as it sounds. Picture this. Astronauts casually going through paperwork, then suddenly looking up and smiling at the camera like a classic sitcom intro. A wave here, a grin there, perfectly timed reactions just like the iconic 80s format.

Except this time, it is happening inside a spacecraft on the way around the Moon.

The crew, including Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen, were not trying to go viral. They were just having fun. According to Wiseman, they were recreating scenes from what he called “bad 80s sitcoms” and ended up laughing the whole time.

And honestly, that is what makes it work.

What makes this moment special is not just nostalgia. It is a contrast.

You have one of the most serious missions in modern space exploration. A journey around the Moon, cutting edge technology, global attention. And in the middle of all that, four astronauts decide to channel a sitcom that originally aired decades ago.

It reminds you that no matter how far humans go, culturally, we carry the same references with us.

Even into space. NASA leaned into the moment with a caption that felt straight out of the show’s theme song. “Everywhere you look, everywhere you go, there’s the Artemis II crew.”

And suddenly, space did not feel distant anymore. It felt familiar.

Even John Stamos, who starred in Full House, reacted to the clip with humor. He joked that if aliens saw this, they might think human civilization is just about hugs, life lessons and neatly wrapped problems solved in 22 minutes.

Which, honestly, is not the worst impression to leave behind.

There is something quietly powerful about this moment.

In an era where content is often loud, controversial or designed purely for attention, this was simple. No agenda, no statement, no performance beyond just enjoying a shared cultural memory.

And that is probably why it worked so well. It also highlights how deeply shows like Full House are embedded in pop culture. A sitcom from the late 80s still has enough relevance that astronauts, in one of the most advanced environments imaginable, can recreate it and instantly connect with millions of people on Earth.

That is not just nostalgia. That is legacy. In the end, this was not about space. It was about something far more human.

Finding joy in familiar things, even when you are millions of miles away from home.

Shweta Singh Kirti Says Nobody Could Play Ram Like Sushant Singh Rajput Reacts On His AI Images

0

Days after the teaser of Ramayana Part I starring Ranbir Kapoor was released, AI generated images of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput imagining him as Lord Ram began circulating on social media. These images quickly gained attention and sparked emotional reactions among fans.

Sushant’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, also shared these pictures on her Instagram account along with a heartfelt message. She expressed how deeply the images affected her and spoke about why seeing her brother in the role of Lord Ram felt so powerful to her.

In her note, she wrote, “Why seeing Bhai as Ram Ji stirs so many emotions? You know why?… Because the Ram Ji is just not another person… a character but what he stands for are the values… values we treasure Maryada, compassion, dignity, courage, truth and his pure love for Sita Maa. Just to keep his father’s word he had given to his wife…Ram Ji left all the worldly pleasure and went to the forest to live a life of penance… what does it prove to us? We worship and draw strength from the values these icons stand for.”

She further added, “Bhai as Rama moves us because he doesn’t only look divine and graceful but because he radiates the strength of character that Ram Ji embodies. The innocence and purity in his eyes and nobility in his expression prove that nobody in present day and age can play Rama as beautifully as Bhai would have played it. Forever Cherished, Forever Unforgettable ❤️.”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020. While some believed it was a case of suicide, others raised questions about possible foul play. Since then, Shweta Singh Kirti has continued to seek justice and clarity in the case.

In 2024, she also released a video message requesting Narendra Modi to look into the CBI investigation, stating that his involvement could help speed up the process and bring relief to those affected.

Meanwhile, the film Ramayana features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, with Yash playing Ravana. Other actors in the project include Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh.

Ramayana Part I is planned for release this Diwali, while the second part is expected to release on Diwali 2027.

The Tun Tun Story: How Uma Devi Became India’s First Female Comedian

0

There was a time in Hindi cinema when making people laugh did not need clever punchlines or complicated writing. Sometimes, just one person walking into the frame could light up the entire scene. That was the magic of Uma Devi Khatri, better known as Tun Tun. For many, she is remembered as the lovable, funny woman who made audiences smile without trying too hard. But before she became a familiar comic face, she was actually a singer.

In the 1940s, when Hindi films were still shaping their identity, Uma Devi entered the industry as a playback singer. She did not have the polished, classical style that later became the norm, but her voice had a raw honesty that connected instantly. One of her most memorable songs, “Afsana Likh Rahi Hoon,” composed by Naushad for the film Dard, became hugely popular. It had a simple, emotional quality that people could relate to, and it gave her recognition at a time when playback singing itself was still evolving.

However, as the industry moved forward, preferences began to change. A more refined and smoother singing style became popular, especially with the rise of singers like Lata Mangeshkar. Slowly, opportunities for Uma Devi as a singer started reducing. It was not a sudden fall, but a gradual silence where fewer songs came her way.

Instead of disappearing, she took a different path. With encouragement from Mehmood, she turned to acting and created a completely new identity as Tun Tun. What makes her journey special is that she did not try to fit into the typical image of a heroine or copy anyone else’s style. She built her own space in comedy.

Her humor was simple, natural, and full of warmth. She did not rely on sharp dialogues or sarcasm. Just her expressions, timing, and presence were enough to make people laugh. At a time when women in films were mostly shown in serious or romantic roles, Tun Tun became one of the first female comedians in Indian cinema, and she did it without making a big statement about it.

She worked with some of the biggest stars of her time, including Dilip Kumar, Dev Anand, and Raj Kapoor. Even in their presence, she managed to stand out and become someone audiences looked forward to seeing on screen.

There is something emotional about her journey. If you go back and listen to her songs today, you can still hear the singer she once was. A talent that did not fade, but simply changed direction because the industry changed around her.

Tun Tun’s story is not just about comedy. It is about adapting when life takes an unexpected turn. It is about finding a new way to stay relevant without losing yourself. Long before people started talking about representation or breaking stereotypes, she was already doing it in her own quiet way.

She did not just make people laugh. She showed that there is always another path if one door closes. And that is why Uma Devi Khatri, both the singer and the comedian, will always remain a special part of Indian cinema history.

Janhvi Kapoor Opens Up On Sridevi Facing Harsh Criticism

0

Janhvi Kapoor recently spoke about the challenges her mother, Sridevi, faced during her lifetime. She shared that Sridevi was often judged harshly and was even called a “homewrecker,” which affected her emotionally.

During a conversation with Raj Shamani, Janhvi explained that she had seen how public opinion can sometimes be very harsh. She said that while people tend to speak more kindly about someone after they are gone, the criticism Sridevi faced while she was alive had a strong impact on her.

Janhvi also spoke about losing her mother in 2018, which happened just a few months before her first film Dhadak was released. She described this loss as the biggest trauma of her life. She also mentioned that dealing with such a personal loss in the public eye made it even more difficult.

After her mother’s passing, Janhvi said she had to grow up quickly. She went from depending on her mother to making important life decisions on her own. During this time, she also faced public attention and criticism related to her family. She admitted that she made some mistakes by trusting certain people, which affected her mental and physical well being.

Talking about her mother, Janhvi said that her absence created a deep emotional gap. She shared that she not only lost her mother but also lost the version of her father, Boney Kapoor, that existed when Sridevi was alive. She also said she misses her mother’s humour and the role she played in holding the family together.

When asked how her mother might see her today, Janhvi said that she has changed and developed her own opinions, which may not always match her mother’s views. She admitted that she is not sure how their conversations would be if Sridevi were still alive.

She also shared what she would say to her mother if given a chance. She expressed understanding and regret for not fully recognising her mother’s struggles earlier in life. She noted that Sridevi started working at a very young age but mostly shared only positive experiences with her children.

Recalling an old interview, Janhvi said, “I have seen that journey. People were not very kind when she was around. They called her a homewrecker and all the cruel things. It played on her mind and made her feel a certain way, but history is kind to people who have passed.”

Sridevi’s personal life was also discussed, as Boney Kapoor was earlier married to Mona Kapoor and had two children, Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor, before marrying her. Together, Boney and Sridevi raised Janhvi and her sister Khushi Kapoor.

Overall, Janhvi’s comments highlight the emotional challenges faced by her mother and the impact it had on their family.

Nitesh Tiwari Shares Surprising Details About Ravana Character

0

Nitesh Tiwari has shared new details about his upcoming film Ramayana. He explained that the character of Ravana will not be shown as just a villain. Instead, the film will present a more complete picture of Ravana’s personality, including both his strengths and weaknesses.

The role of Ravana will be played by Yash. According to the director, the character will highlight how Ravana was not only powerful but also talented and knowledgeable. He spoke about this during the teaser launch event in Los Angeles, where he said, “See, Ravana had so many aspects to his life. He was a great warrior, he was an accomplished musician, a scholar, a benevolent king… a great Shiva devotee. There was so much to him than just being a black character.”

He further explained the idea behind this approach. “… It’s very important for us to showcase all these bits and aspects of Ravana because there’s a very important lesson which is hiding in them. You can have all these great qualities, but if you are governed by vengeance and if you are driven by ego, then you know what the end result is going to be. There’s a great lesson out there.” This shows that the film aims to present Ravana as a complex character rather than a one dimensional figure.

At the same event, Ranbir Kapoor also spoke about Yash’s role. He said, “Yash, of course, he has the stardom that he has. To play Ravana, you need somebody who has that aura and screen presence. His interpretation of Ravana is very different from what we have seen over the years. I think that’s something which the audiences will really enjoy watching on the big screen.”

Interestingly, Yash is also working as a producer on the film. He had earlier spoken about this in April 2025, saying, “It has been my long term aspiration to make films that will showcase Indian cinema on a global level. In pursuit of that, I was in LA to ally with one of the best VFX studios, and to my amazement, the driving force behind it was a fellow Indian.”

He added, “Namit and I had various ideation sessions, and coincidentally, our synergy on the vision for Indian cinema aligned perfectly. We brainstormed various projects, and during these discussions, the subject of ‘Ramayana’ came up. Namit had a part of it in the works.”

The film features a large cast including Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. The first part of Ramayana is planned for release during Diwali 2026, while the second part is scheduled for Diwali 2027.

Anu Malik Reunites With Anupam Kher And Mahesh Bhatt

0

Anu Malik is currently working with two well known figures from the film industry, Anupam Kher and Mahesh Bhatt, on their upcoming projects. He is collaborating with Anupam Kher on a play titled Jaane Pehchaane Anjane, and with Mahesh Bhatt on a film called Tu Meri Poori Kahani.

Talking about these collaborations, Anu Malik shared, “I hope I have justified the faith they have reposed in me!” His statement reflects his effort to meet the expectations of both filmmakers.

Anupam Kher, who has worked with Anu Malik earlier in films like Awaargi and Maarg, spoke about why he chose to work with him again. He said, “I just thought about who has the same passion, fire, and brilliance today as in 2002, and Anu was the only one who came to mind! He has made so many amazing songs over the decades, and I thought that the theatre audience would hear his songs for the first time and would love them! I have four songs that will come at different junctures, as they are all seven to eight minutes long. Shaan, Sukhwinder Singh, and Anandi Joshi are our singers.”

Kher also spoke about his preference for recording music in a traditional way. “Nowadays, I have heard that people send music to you digitally. But that does not make sense to me! I have attended so many recordings of Laxmikant Pyarelal, Kalyanji Anandji, and R D Burman that I prefer to hear songs live in a studio. And let me say, Anu has delivered!” he added.

Mahesh Bhatt also shared his thoughts on working with Anu Malik again. He said, “Anu Malik and I came together again for Sir and Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee at a time when he had hit rock bottom, after a phase when I was mainly working with Nadeem Shravan. And I have seen this again and again, when a person begins to feel the breath of extinction, something primal awakens. The survival instinct in a creative person often brings out their very best. It is not for nothing that despair has been called the womb of creativity!”

He further explained how the idea for the project came about. “When Tu Meri Poori Kahani was being filmed, I sat down with Vikram Bhatt and his writing team. The director was a bright young girl named Suhrita Das from Bengal, my protegee, and we had a gifted lyric writer, Shweta Bothra. The idea, in fact, came from Vikram. He felt that since this was a love story, the combination of Anu Malik and me could create something special,” Bhatt added.

Overall, these collaborations bring together experienced artists who have worked together in the past and are now joining hands again for new creative projects.
