Ratner, best known for Rush Hour and Red Dragon, has since relocated to Israel and is currently also working on a separate film about the Abraham Accords.

Melania is said to present the former First Lady’s perspective directly, offering exclusive footage of her daily activities during the White House transition. According to Amazon, the film includes “critical meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen environments,” documenting her efforts in orchestrating inauguration plans and reestablishing her public role.

Melania Trump herself is credited as a producer. In a January interview with Fox & Friends, she said filming began in November and captures her day-to-day life—from forming her First Lady team and preparing the White House residence, to managing the transition process.

The trailer for A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, a highly anticipated Game of Thrones spinoff, was revealed at New York Comic Con, with author George R.R. Produced for HBO Max, the series is based on Martin’s Dunk and Egg novellas and is set 100 years before the events of Game of Thrones.

The story follows Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk), a humble and honourable knight, and his quick-witted squire Egg. The trailer teases Dunk’s transformation from squire to knight as he vows to protect the vulnerable, all while journeying to the Ashford tourney—a key event in the story. Despite doubt from others, including members of House Targaryen, Dunk’s courage and sense of justice stand out, with Egg offering both humour and heart as his loyal companion.

HBO Max announced: “A tall tale that became legend. The new #GameOfThrones series, #AKnightoftheSevenKingdoms, premieres January 18 on HBO Max.” In India, the series will stream on JioHotstar starting January 19.

Set during a time when the Targaryens still rule Westeros and the memory of dragons lingers, the show promises powerful foes, epic adventures, and deep bonds of friendship. The official synopsis describes Dunk as “a young, naïve but courageous knight” and Egg as his “diminutive squire,” as they navigate a dangerous and politically charged realm.

The six-episode series, co-written by Martin and Ira Parker and co-directed by Adina Smith and Owen Harris, features a strong ensemble cast including Finn Bennett, Bertie Carvel, and Tanzyn Crawford. Each episode will run approximately 30 minutes, with the finale airing on February 25, 2026.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, multiple factors influenced the actor’s decision to walk away from the project.

“Firstly, at the moment NTR doesn’t want to play a real-life character, and that too a legend from the past,” a source was quoted as saying. “Secondly, the Phalke biopic was not to be directed by Rajamouli himself, but by his son Karthik. Most crucially, Aamir Khan is also working on a Dadasaheb Phalke biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani, and doing a similar film would serve little purpose.”

Adding to the complications, a Mid-Day report claimed that Jr NTR’s unavailability due to prior commitments also played a role in his decision. The team reportedly approached Prabhas next, hoping to reunite him with Rajamouli after the Baahubali saga. However, Prabhas too appears unavailable, given his packed schedule with high-profile projects like Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit and Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD: Part 2, which are expected to keep him busy well into 2026.

Meanwhile, Jr NTR is currently immersed in the production of his upcoming pan-India action spectacle Dragon, helmed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film, being mounted on a grand scale, is rumoured to feature Rukmini Vasanth and Tovino Thomas in pivotal roles, setting the stage for another explosive cinematic event from the South.

However, the momentum began to fade rapidly during the weekdays. According to data from sacnilk.com, the film collected just ₹2 crore on Thursday, marking its lowest single-day earnings since release. As of now, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has amassed around ₹40.75 crore in eight days.

Trade analysts attribute the film’s lukewarm performance to stiff competition from Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1, which has emerged as a nationwide blockbuster. Its mass appeal and strong word-of-mouth have left little breathing room for other releases, including this glossy romantic comedy.
