The makers of Peddi recently shared new photos and a 53 second video from the film’s set, featuring Chiranjeevi visiting the shoot location of the upcoming sports drama starring Ram Charan. The video quickly caught attention online as it showed the father and son spending time together during the shoot.
Set in rural Andhra Pradesh during the 1980s, Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. In the newly shared visuals, Ram Charan appeared in a rugged look with a thick beard while playing the role of Peddi Pehelwan. Chiranjeevi was seen posing with him, flexing muscles for pictures and taking selfies with the team members.
The photos also featured director Buchi Babu Sana along with producer Sukumar. The behind the scenes moments gave fans a closer look at the atmosphere on the set and the physical transformation Ram Charan has undergone for the role.
The film is being described as a sports drama with a village backdrop and is expected to focus on local culture and wrestling. Music for the movie has been composed by A. R. Rahman, adding further interest among moviegoers. The cast also includes Janhvi Kapoor in a key role.

According to the makers, Peddi is scheduled to release in theatres on June 4, while premiere shows are planned for June 3. The team is also expected to release the official trailer soon.
