Devara: Part directed by Koratala Siva, is a highly anticipated film starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, set to hit theatres on September 27. The trailer for the film, launched at a grand event in Mumbai, introduces a gripping narrative set in a world marked by power and fear. Saif’s character, Bhaira, and his men are unafraid until Jr NTR’s dual character (Devara and his son Varadha) arrives to shake things up. While Bhaira seemingly allies with Jr NTR’s Devara, it is implied that he has ulterior motives to defeat him.
Janhvi Kapoor plays Thangam, a village woman in love with Devara’s son, who despite his differences from his father, may rise to face the challenges before him. The trailer suggests an intense confrontation between Jr NTR and Saif, set against stunning visuals of a blood-red sea, hinting at fierce battles to come.
As part of the promotion, Jr NTR met Alia Bhatt and filmmaker Karan Johar in Mumbai, with pictures of the meeting surfacing online. Jr NTR and Saif were spotted in beige outfits, while Janhvi dazzled in a blue half-saree style outfit.
The film, featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, has already released three songs: Fear Song,, and Daavudi, receiving mixed reviews. Devara: Part 1 is set to release in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
