Salman Khan has created excitement among fans after sharing a major hint about the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 20. The actor, who has been the face of the popular reality show for several years, appeared in the first teaser of the new season and left viewers wondering if Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan could also be a part of the premiere.
On Tuesday, the makers released the first glimpse of Bigg Boss 20 on social media. Along with the teaser, they wrote, “Ek se bhale do..#BiggBoss Starts 6th September on #JioHotstar and @colorstv.” The caption, combined with the teaser, immediately caught the attention of fans and started discussions online.
In the video, Salman Khan makes a grand entry on a majestic horse before delivering a dialogue that reminded fans of the blockbuster film Karan Arjun. He says, “Jo Karan Arjun mein hua tha, woh hoga ab Bigg Boss mein… Thathastu!” Since Karan Arjun starred both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, many fans believe the dialogue could be hinting at a special appearance by Shah Rukh during the new season. However, there has been no official confirmation about his involvement.
Talking about the upcoming season, Salman Khan said, “Every season of Bigg Boss brings a fresh game, new dynamics and unexpected twists. But this season, there’s a mystery at the heart of it that makes it unlike anything we’ve seen before. The first hint is already out there, you just have to look at it twice. The teaser is just the beginning, and I can’t wait for audiences to start piecing the clues together when Bigg Boss Hindi Season 20 begins.”
The teaser also suggests that this year’s season will have a mystery based theme, with several hidden clues expected to unfold as the show progresses. Reports also claim that the Bigg Boss house has been completely redesigned. Unlike previous seasons, Omung Kumar and Vanita Garud Kumar are reportedly not designing the set this time. Instead, art directors Kanchan and Rupali, who previously worked on The 50, have taken over the responsibility of creating the new house.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that several well known celebrities are being considered for the contestant lineup. The rumoured names include Mahhi Vij, Geeta Basra, Jannat Zubair, Faisal Shaikh, also known as Mr Faisu, Sunil Pal, Nia Sharma, Pearl V Puri and Showik Chakraborty. While the final list of contestants has not yet been announced, anticipation for the new season continues to grow. Bigg Boss 20 is scheduled to premiere on Colors TV and JioHotstar on September 6, 2026.
