A promo released by Colors Marathi showcased the emotional Raksha Bandhan celebrations inside the Bigg Boss house. The promo, shared on Instagram, features Nikki Tamboli, a standout contestant, tying a rakhi to fellow housemate Suraj Chavan. Nikki’s heartfelt gesture came with a promise to protect Suraj both within the Bigg Boss house and beyond, to which Suraj responded with his own vow to protect Nikki in the outside world. This touching moment ended with a warm hug, as Suraj respectfully touched Nikki’s feet.
The celebration extended further with Ankita Walawalkar tying a rakhi to Dhananjay Pawar, while another contestant, Irina, grew emotional as she remembered her own brother.
In an unexpected twist, the episode also saw the double elimination of contestants Nikhil Damle and Yogita Chavan, shocking both the housemates and fans. The double eviction was a result of no eliminations in the previous week, leading to the departure of two contestants in the third week. Nikhil Damle, Yogita Chavan, Abhijit Sawant, and Suraj Chavan were all nominated, but it was Nikhil and Yogita who ultimately left the house, allowing Abhijit and Suraj to continue in the competition.
