Gurcharan Singh is in critical condition at a hospital after 19 days of no food or water intake. following which concern gripped his friends after the faint occurrence and rushed him to the hospital, quoted his close friend Bhakti Soni.
Speaking to Times Now Bhakti noted, “Last time he told me that because of his critical condition, he would know by January 13-14 whether he would remain on this planet or not; these were his exact words. His parents are very worried, but Gurucharan is not listening to anyone.”
Earlier this week, Singh shared a video via Instagram, where he sits in the hospital bed, expressing gratitude for the support and updating on his poor health. Singh stated, “Haalat bahot zyada kharab ho gayi hai,” vague as it is on details related to hospitalization.
On the post, he wrote a heartwarming caption: “On the occasion of Gurpurab, Guru Sahib Ji gave me a new life. Thanking my heart to Guru Sahib Ji. I express my sincere gratitude to everyone. Because of the grace of Guru Sahib Ji, I am alive today. Rab Rakha and may Waheguru bless others always.”
Gurucharan Singh fits the chocolate jovial role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The original main cast member had left the show in 2012 before returning in 2013 by public demand. He departed the series for good in 2020, with Balwinder Singh Suri taking over the part of Roshan Singh Sodhi.
Singh’s health battle has upset his fans and colleagues, who have sent prayers and well-wishes regarding his recovery.
