Veteran actor Nana Patekar made a memorable appearance as a guest on Indian Idol 15, where he shared some candid moments with contestant Myscmme Bosu. In a promo shared by Sony Entertainment Television on Instagram, Nana was seen engaging in a playful and direct conversation with Myscmme. He first asked her if she believed in numerology, and when she confirmed, he cheekily asked her who would win the competition. Myscmme appeared speechless, prompting Nana to joke about her belief in numerology, telling her it was “nonsense” and advising her to just focus on singing without hesitation.
His comment left both Myscmme and fellow judge Badshah surprised by Nana’s blunt approach. The clip ended with Nana encouraging her to focus solely on her singing and not worry about anything else. The promo was captioned, “Bebaak Nana bol uthe — agar gaane pe full focus hai, toh baaki kuch zaruri nahi” (Outspoken Nana opened up – if full focus is on the singing, then nothing else is important).
Viewers were amused by Nana’s directness, with some fans commenting that Myscmme seemed tense after his questions. One user even humorously remarked, “Isn’t there a little too much roasting on Indian Idol?”
Indian Idol 15 is hosted by Aditya Narayan, with Shreya Ghoshal, Vishal Dadlani, and Badshah serving as judges. The show airs on Sony Entertainment Television at 9 pm.
On the work front, Nana Patekar will soon be seen in Vanvaas, which releases in theaters on December 20. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Khushboo Sundar, Rajpal Yadav, and Simrat Kaur.
