PIKU will see a unique cast in the form of Amitabh Bachchan, Irrfan Khan & Deepika Padukone. The film will see Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone playing Bengalis.

Says Irrfan, “I’m not playing a Bengali in PIKU. I have a problem with Bengalis in the film. To learn the language and everything right about Bengalis was Amitabh and Deepika Padukone’s job, not mine.”
