Asin would be seen soon in HOUSEFULL 2 after a break of almost a year (her last release was Salman Khan starrer READY). While it is a known fact that Akshay Kumar's HOUSEFULL was offered to her first, not many are aware that she was in the fray for his DE DANA DAN as well.
Now HOUSEFULL 2 seems to have come at just the right time for the actress after those couple of other opportunities couldn't quite materialise in the past.
''Well yes, but then those are matters of the past. What is important is today and it is fantastic that Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala thought of me for HOUSEFULL 2,' says Asin, 'Akshay is right there at the top even after being on the scene for over two decades.
However till date you can see him right on time at the sets and ready to shoot. Moreover he and Sajid have such a tuning with each other, especially after working together in HOUSEFULL and HEYY BABYY, that it rubs on other actors as well.''
It isn't just Akshay with whom she is finally sharing screen space. With the film Asin would now also be seen with relatively younger heroes like John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh.
''I think to have John and Riteish as your co-stars is pretty much akin to seeing the best of both worlds,' smiles Asin, ''John is someone who is known for his action, body and brooding nature. On the other hand Riteish is a very fun loving guy.''
On a parting note she adds, ''I guess HOUSEFULL 2 is a wonderful thing to have happened to me at this stage of my career. There are so many people coming together in a single film.
The kind of acquaintances that I have managed to make in this one film would otherwise have been possible for me if I would have worked in multiple films over a period of three years.''
