With filmmaker and producer Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s latest film BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG winning the National Award for Most Popular Film this year, it’s a hat-trick of National Awards for the ace director. His first two National Award winning films are RANG DE BASANTI in 2006 and DELHI 6 in 2009.

While DELHI 6 won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration in 2009, RANG DE BASANTI and now BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG both have won the National Award for Most Popular Film providing Wholesome Entertainment.

Choreographer Ganesh Acharya also won the National Award for Best Choreography for ‘Maston Ka Jhund’ from BHAAG MILKHA BHAAG.
