The film marks an exciting new venture for both actresses, with Kajol portraying a determined police officer and Kriti Sanon debuting in the thriller genre, taking on dual roles.
Set in the fictional town of Devipur, Do Patti revolves around the complex and dangerous events that follow Kajol’s character, police inspector Vidya Jyothi, as she investigates a case involving Saumya Sood (Kriti Sanon) and her husband Dhruv Sood (Shaheer Sheikh). The plot thickens with the arrival of Saumya’s twin sister, Shailee, who adds an element of mystery and deception, as she tries to disrupt Saumya and Dhruv’s relationship.

Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi (BOB), Do Patti is set to be released on Netflix. The film also marks Kriti’s foray into film production through her banner Kathha Pictures, in collaboration with writer Kanika Dhillon’s Blue Butterfly Films. The film is their second collaboration after Dilwale in 2015.
