Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul were due to give birth to their first child in 2025. The couple announced their pregnancy on November 23, 2024, to all their fans with a heartfelt New Year update. On January 2nd, the couple took to their Instagram to share a sweet update with the fans showing their journey into parenthood.
Athiya looked beautiful and without effort in the co-ord set. She tied up her hair in a sleek ponytail, and to complete her look, she wore sunglasses. The black-and-white picture is pure couple goals, as Athiya rests her head on KL Rahul’s shoulder, holding his hand. KL Rahul wore a full-sleeved T-shirt, denim, and a cap while lost in thoughts gazing into the distance and looking calm and affectionate.

The second slide was a cute clip of Athiya taking a stroll with her husband, the cricketer, which kind of gives a nod to her baby bump. Athiya captioned the post with a quiet note: “Slow down sometimes, count your blessings, Be kind to your heart, Believe in new beginnings.” Finally, she finished with the hopeful caption: “2025, can’t wait for you.”
