Is Ranbir Kapoor spreading himself too thin? Body double used for Ramayana as he juggles multiple projects

Ranbir Kapoor’s Busy Schedule with ‘Ramayana’ and ‘Love and War

Ranbir Kapoor has been making waves in the news these days due to his upcoming projects, especially Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious films, Ramayana and Love and War. While the actor is deeply involved in shooting for Love and War under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, he is also playing a pivotal role in the much-anticipated Ramayana. There have been reports recently that Ranbir’s hectic schedule has forced a body double for some scenes in Ramayana.

Production Flexibility for ‘Ramayana

A source close to the Ramayana production told Midday that most of Ranbir Kapoor’s key scenes for the first part of the film have already been completed. The remaining work consists of minor scenes, which can be filmed without his direct involvement. To ensure minimal delay due to Ranbir, who would also be occupied during Love and War, a body double shot these minor scenes. The entire production schedule of the shooting sequence has been scheduled with meticulous precision. The first part of Ramayana, which is a high-budget VFX-heavy film, is expected to be completed by June 2025, with post-production work taking several more months. The film’s director, Nitesh Tiwari, will be focused on the extensive post-production process over the coming months.
