Actor Arjun Kapoor is on a promotion spree for his film Mere Husband Ki Biwi. The star is seen gracing the event, along with other co-stars such as Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh. On-stage, during a fan event, an unusual event occurred: Someone screamed the name of Malaika – Ex-girlfriend to Arjun, Malaika Arora during the fan meet. All people present in that event seemed baffled and had their talk at Arjun’s reaction.
It is when Bhumi Pednekar was answering the question of the fan about the movie that something suddenly happened-the person from the crowd screamed “Malaika”. Arjun, being utterly aware of his awkward situation, looked straight to the crowd. He shook his head with that knowing expression while remaining silent. Rakul and Bhumi then briefly glanced at him but then chose not to comment on this situation. This moment was reminiscent of a similar occurrence at a Diwali party hosted by politician Raj Thackeray last year when a fan repeatedly shouted Malaika’s name. During that event, Arjun responded humorously, saying, “Nahi abhi single hoon. Relax karo (No, I’m single now. Relax).”
Malaika and Arjun’s Past Relationship
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora started dating in 2018, though they kept their relationship mostly private. They often shared glimpses of their vacations and exchanged loving messages on birthdays. Though they broke up in 2024, Arjun has been supportive of Malaika, especially after the recent death of her father, Anil Mehta, when he visited her.
