The 10-day-long festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated with grandeur across India, and Mumbai’s Lalbaugcha Raja continues to remain the spiritual hub of the festivities. Thousands of devotees from across the country are flocking to the pandal to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Among the notable visitors this year was actress Sana Makbul, who came to offer prayers and celebrate the occasion with fans and fellow devotees.
Career Highlights
Sana Makbul began her career as a model, transitioning to television with an appearance in MTV Scooty Teen Diva (2009). She became known through top-rated shows such as Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Arjun. She stunned audiences by appearing in the semi-finals in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2021.
Her largest achievement was in 2024, when she took the title of Bigg Boss OTT Season 3. She has also worked on Tamil, Telugu, and Bollywood ventures, and has most recently featured in the popular music video Koi Koi Karda with Stebin Ben.
Sana’s Festive Attire and Words
The winner of Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sana, appeared glamorous in a vintage pink kurta outfit matched with a floral dupatta. Her grace and warm smile contributed to the festive atmosphere as she merged with the crowd gathered at the pandal. Addressing the paparazzi briefly, Sana stated, “Maine bola tha na mai haar saal aati hu Lal Baug.”. Is baar thora late ja rahi hu but aayi jaroor hu (As usual, I had said I visit Lal Baug each year. This time I came slightly late, but I sure came).
As every year, various Bollywood, TV, and political celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Esha Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, Ambani family, Janhvi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Disha Vakani also went to the pandal to take blessings.
