The wait is finally over! The Ba*ds of Bollywood, Aryan Khan—son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan—much-awaited directorial debut premiered today, September 18, on Netflix. Ahead of the worldwide release, the makers organized a grand screening at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai, drawing in a starry guest list and unparalleled glamour.
Bobby Deol’s Family Steals the Spotlight
Among the guests, Bobby Deol, one of the show’s major stars, was seen looking dapper in a black velvet suit along with wife Tanya Deol and son Aryaman Deol. Bobby was dressed to the nines, while Tanya wore a thigh-high slit black dress. But it was Aryaman, sporting a blue cutaway suit, who stole everyone’s attention. Social media was flooded with fans declaring him a “young Dharmendra” and praising his uncanny resemblance to his father and grandfather.
Bollywood’s Biggest Stars Make an Entrance
The evening was a style extravaganza. Karan Johar glowed in metallic silver attire, while Farah Khan wore a sequin blazer. Guneet Monga opted for simple black, and Vijay Varma wore a jacket and T-shirt. Other celebrities seen attending the event were Zoya Akhtar, Raj & DK, Shibani Dandekar, Farhan Akhtar, Raja Kumari, and Khushi Kapoor, who had come to show her support for her dear friend Aryan.
A Gritty Drama Based in Bollywood’s Underworld
The Ba*ds of Bollywood is billed as a high-octane, edgy, and self-referential drama. The plot revolves around an ambitious outsider and his team as they navigate Bollywood’s dark, egoistic world.
The supporting cast features Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and others—along with surprise appearances from Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Karan Johar.
