Hollywood’s favorite action hero, Keanu Reeves, has allegedly wed his long-time girlfriend, artist and author Alexandra Grant. The John Wick star wed Grant in an intimate ceremony held earlier this summer while on a secluded European vacation, Radar Online reports.
An insider told us, “Keanu wed Alexandra in an extremely private ceremony. They had talked about it for years. Both cherish their private lives, and they wanted the occasion to be all about them.” Although neither Reeves nor Grant has publicly announced the news, the story has elicited an explosion of affection from supporters worldwide.
Reeves, 59, and Grant, 52, met in 2009 at a party. Their friendship grew into a working collaboration as they published their book Ode to Happiness in 2011. Their relationship evolved into romance as time passed and went public in 2019, which was Reeves’ first public romance in decades.
Their relationship has been uniformly praised for its genuineness and respect. Their fans have complimented the couple’s earthiness, and their infrequent but genuine public appearances have served only to reinforce that image.
There are very few actors that I admire, but Keanu Reeves has always been a standup man. He is now married at the age of 60 to his longtime girlfriend, Alexa Grant. pic.twitter.com/aZqglERD5x

Reeves’ path to love has not been free of sorrow. In 1999, he and girlfriend Jennifer Syme lost their unborn child in a late-term miscarriage. Sorrow also found him in 2001, when Syme passed away in an automobile accident. The double tragedy devastated Reeves, and he stayed mostly out of the celebrity romantic limelight for years.

Friends of the actor tell us that Alexandra Grant brought peace and healing to his life. “She provides him with calmness and stability,” a friend explained. “She helped him find his way again to happiness.”
If true, this low-key wedding is more than a romantic triumph—it’s a stunning new beginning for a man who has known profound grief—and rediscovered love.
