What’s Wrong with Urvashi Rautela? She Copied Priyanka Chopra’s Dussehra and Gandhi Jayanti Posts

Urvashi Rautela's Copycat Behavior Has Gone Too Far - Priyanka Chopra's Fans Are Fuming!

Urvashi Rautela has once again found herself at the centre of online scrutiny — this time for allegedly copying multiple Instagram Stories originally shared by global star Priyanka Chopra. Fans were quick to point out that Urvashi posted not one, but four Stories identical to those Priyanka had earlier uploaded, including tributes and festival wishes.

The posts included a heartfelt tribute to the late Jane Goodall, the legendary primatologist known for her lifelong work with chimpanzees. Goodall recently passed away from natural causes, and Priyanka honoured her legacy by sharing an old Time interview in which Goodall spoke about the power of hope and its importance for humanity. Alongside this, Priyanka posted a Dussehra greeting and a message commemorating Mahatma Gandhi on Gandhi Jayanti.

Shortly after, Urvashi Rautela posted the exact same content to her Instagram Stories, which did not go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans. Social media users were quick to criticise the actress for copying, sparking fresh debates around originality and authenticity in the influencer age.

This isn’t the first time Urvashi has been accused of plagiarism. In 2020, she faced backlash for tweeting a review of the Oscar-winning film Parasite that closely mirrored a post by New York-based writer JP Brammer. Her tweet read, “One thing I really love about Parasite is that rather than depict the fam as scammers…,” which was nearly identical to Brammer’s original text.

Most recently, Urvashi was seen in Daaku Maharaaj, alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and others.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra continues to juggle a packed schedule, returning for Citadel Season 2, starring in The Bluff as a 19th-century Caribbean pirate, and gearing up for SS Rajamouli’s big-budget global film GlobeTrotter with Mahesh Babu.
