Priyanka Chopra Jonas has started celebrating Karva Chauth early this year, exposing fans to her festive frenzy and loving devotion towards husband Nick Jonas. Not letting her work schedule, shared between India and the U.S., get in the way, the actress still celebrates the festival every year with love and zeal.
Posting on Instagram, Priyanka has put up her Karva Chauth mehendi photos, showing a beautiful but subtle design. One of the highlights of the design that won hearts was where his name had been written, “Nicolas,” in Hindi — a lovely gesture towards their connection. The post has gained praise in no time from followers, who appreciated her not losing touch with her heritage.
Adding some cuteness to the festivities, Priyanka also posted a photo of her daughter Malti Marie’s small hands with mehendi tattoos. The three-year-old’s inclusion made for a lovely family moment that thrilled fans all over the world.
During a previous visit to Victoria’s Secret’s VS Voices podcast, Priyanka discussed her and Nick’s spiritual compatibility in light of their disparate religious backgrounds. “Spiritually, Nick and I agree on our emotions and our relationship with faith,” she explained. “Religion is a map to the same place, and that place is God. We both have faith in that higher power.”
Priyanka and Nick got married in an extravagant two-day wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur in December 2018, celebrating both their cultures with Hindu and Christian wedding ceremonies. Priyanka gave birth to their daughter Malti Marie in January 2022 through surrogacy.
On the work front, Priyanka is currently filming SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated jungle adventure film, starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj. The first look is expected to drop in November, building major anticipation among fans.
