Halsey Calls BTS ‘Trailblazers’ Ahead of Their Comeback

Halsey praises BTS as trailblazers while reflecting on their solo journeys and upcoming comeback with a new album, live concert, and global tour.

American pop star Halsey has shared her admiration for global K-pop sensation BTS, describing the seven-member group as innovators and trailblazers in the music industry.

Having collaborated with BTS on the 2019 hit Boy With Luv, as well as working individually with Suga on her album Manic and a reimagined version of Lilith, Halsey has experienced their creative process firsthand.

In a recent interview, she reflected on BTS’ influence, stating that the group consistently leads rather than follows industry trends. She emphasized that artists of their stature are able to focus on meaningful creative direction while filtering out distractions.

Halsey also praised the members — RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook — for maintaining a collaborative and respectful work environment. She highlighted the group’s shared vision and noted that their success stems from the way individual strengths support a collective identity.

Speaking about their solo ventures during the group’s hiatus, Halsey expressed admiration for how each member explored their own artistic voice. She noted that their individual projects reflected personal style while remaining consistent with their broader creative journey.

Following the completion of their mandatory military service, BTS has announced a major comeback. The group is set to release their fifth studio album, Arirang, on March 20.

The following day, BTS will return to live performance for the first time in nearly four years with a concert titled BTS THE COMEBACK Live | ARIRANG. The performance will take place at Gyeongbokgung Palace and will be livestreamed globally on Netflix.

Additionally, fans can expect a documentary titled BTS: THE RETURN, scheduled for release on March 27. The film will chronicle the group’s reunion and the creation of their new album.

Following these releases, BTS will embark on an extensive world tour spanning 2026 and 2027, with over 80 shows planned across Asia, North America, and Europe. The tour will begin in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9.

As BTS prepares for this new chapter, Halsey’s remarks highlight their lasting impact and evolving artistry.
